ABOUT PLA

PLA or biodegradable plastic, the correct name is polylactic acid, generally used corn, cassava extracted starch, sugar extracted from sugar cane and sugar beet and straw, etc., obtained by fermentation, dehydration, etc. The polylactic acid is obtained in a purified manner. Because its raw materials mainly come from renewable resources and it is easier to decompose in nature than plastics, it was generally supported by all parties at the beginning of the market, and it is also known as "green plastic", also known as plastic corn. In a composting environment, PLA will be broken down into lactic acid. When the polymer is decomposed, lactic acid will be swallowed by bacteria and converted into water and carbon dioxide. According to different product sizes and thicknesses and in the composting environment, there are three main elements of high temperature (58-70 °C), high humidity, and bacteria will take about 90-180 days.
